DU Mathematical Models in Economics and Finance

- In order to prepare for the terminal year of regular Master programmes, foreign student can join the specially designed MMMEF (Mathematical Models in Economics and Finance). This programme includes Mathematics, economics, Finance but also French language training in one package: it allows non-French speaking bachelor-level students to prepare optimally for further specialization in one of the regular Master programme with Panthéon-Sorbonne.

After the first year of the MMEF Degree, successful students who want to get a Masters Degree, may apply to:

• the QEM1, the first year (QEM1) of The Erasmus Mundus Master course, QEM - Models and Methods of Quantitative Economics; 
• master 2 ETE, MMMEF, IRFA

Erasmus Mundus QEM

Erasmus Mundus is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education. The programme aims to support academic excellence, promote  the quality of European higher education worldwide, and foster cooperation with targeted third countries.   

- The QEM is an integrated Master programme with Barcelona, Bielefeld and Venice. This programme offers specialization in mathematical economics and finance. 

After having successfully completed the QEM program, the students may enter one of the PhD Programs that Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne is involved in. See below for the continuation of studies.
